Simple Honey Lavender Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • Optional: 2-3 frozen blueberries

Instructions
 

  • Combine water, honey, and sugar in a saucepan on the stovetop
  • Bring to just a boil over medium heat, while stirring continuously until sugar dissolves
  • Remove pot from the burner and add 3 tbsp of dried culinary lavender buds
  • Optional: add 2-3 frozen blueberries with the lavender buds to add purple color to your syrup
  • Cover with a lid and let steep for 15-20 minutes (longer if you want a stronger flavor)
  • After you have steeped it as long as you want, strain out the lavender buds, and store in a glass jar with a lid
  • Keep it in the fridge for up to 2 - 3 weeks
