Chamomile Moon Milk
This chamomile moon milk recipe is the perfect cozy, caffeine-free drink to enjoy after a long day. It is naturally calming, and a great way to slow down and relax before bed.
Cook Time 10 minutes mins
- 1 cup Milk of your choice (Fill your favorite mug with milk, it doesn't need to be exactly 1 cup)
- 1 tbsp Dried Chamomile flowers (or 1 chamomile tea bag)
- 1 tsp Honey
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
Stovetop:
Add milk to your favorite mug, and then pour into a saucepan on the stovetop.
Heat on medium heat until hot, but not boiling.
As the milk it heating, stir in honey until fully dissolved.
Once good and hot, turn off the heat and remove from the burner. Add in chamomile and steep for 5 minutes.
Strain out chamomile.
Optional: Use a milk frother to create some foam (or shake in a glass jar with tight fitting lid for about one minute), add back to your mug, sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
Microwave:
Add milk to your favorite microwave safe mug.
Heat in microwave for about 2 minutes (use the beverage setting if have one). Should be hot but not boiling.
Remove from the microwave and stir in honey.
Add in chamomile and let steep for about 5 minutes.
Optional: Use a milk frother if you want some foam on top (or shake in a glass jar with tight fitting lid for about one minute), and then add a little sprinkle of cinnamon to finish it off
